I need a qualified plumber to investigate and repair a suspected leak at the back of my toilet. Problem details: There is significant mould, staining, and damp behind the toilet and around the soil pipe. The issue appears to be caused by a failed or leaking toilet pan connector / seal where the toilet connects to the soil pipe. The toilet itself appears intact, but the connector and surrounding sealant look old and degraded. Leak is likely occurring during flushing over a long period. Scope of work: Isolate water supply and safely remove the toilet if required Inspect the pan connector, soil pipe, and toilet outlet Replace the toilet pan connector with a new, correct-fitting part Re-seat and properly align the toilet Reseal the base of the toilet with sanitary silicone Test for leaks after installation Additional notes: Photos available showing the condition behind the toilet No replacement of the toilet required unless an unexpected issue is found Please bring all necessary tools and parts (happy to cover parts cost separately if needed) Requirements: Experienced plumber / bathroom installer Able to complete job cleanly and hygienically Ideally available soon, but flexible on timing
Your toilet looks to be humid...use heating and extractor fan for 2-3 hrs everyday especially at the time of bath....leak should cause bad smell instead
