@Lilian M. Can you upload any photos of the fence?
Lilian is the fence made of steel bars? Or timber? If steel it will be not easy to fit it quickly and securely for the long term. Usually make a steel frame that can be either bolted or welded to the fence and then the postbox bolted to the frame. Or a variation with steel bars between the postbox and fence/railings.
