Lizzie the damaged plasterboard is only about half a sheet or so. Full sheet is about 8 foot long by 4 foot wide, so it's not even a full sheet.
Lizzie how far is it going out past the smoke alarm and I take it the alarm is in the middle of ceiling so I can get rough idea of 1 or 2 plasterboards
@Patrick Q. Hi Patrick. No problem. I spoke with my dad and he’s agreed to wait a bit before getting it done. So it’s not needed this week, anymore. I will get back to you shortly
@Joseph B. Hi, I would expect for the hired person to provide material, i.e., plasterboard. I have white paint in the house that may be enough.
Lizzie are you supplying the materials or would you want someone to supply them with there price
@Patrick Q. €400 is quite a bit. Bear in mind it’s not the full hallway. Is that with materials included? Would you be providing the materials
@Lizzie L. That's ok. If someone else can do it sooner that's fine.
@Paul M. Ahh okay. I was hoping tomorrow or Tuesday. I’ll get back to you about Thursday or Friday
No sorry Lizzie I can't come tomorrow. It would be later this week about Thursday or Friday.
@Paul M. If I accept can you come tomorrow?
@Lizzie. Yes it'd take about half a day or so.
@Paul M. Ohh grand. Is that something that can be done in one day? And how much would you do for it?
@Lizzie L. New plasterboard to just past the smoke alarm.
@Lizzie L. That's fine thanks. Best way to fix is to remove all the damaged plasterboard and fit new and plaster.
@Paul M. New pics uploaded
@Arron B. No it’s not leaking. Hasnt leaked in years. Just never got the chance to fix it
Is the ceiling still leaking ? It will need new plaster board and to be skimmed then painted
@Paul M. Hi yes, I will sent it shortly
@Lizzie L. Can you upload photos of the rest of the ceiling past the smoke alarm? Thanks
