@Devin C. Can you do screeding

Vaclav C. 21 days ago

Hi, I can start 8th I will do the laminate floor but I can't do the screening

Jitender K. 21 days ago

@Vaclav C. Before I accept: 1) you will screed the floor, this is to level the floor. 2) you will lay the laminate floor 3) you will start on 8th

Jitender K. 21 days ago

@Devin C. Are you okay to lay self levelling compound? This is to level the floor

Jitender K. 22 days ago

@Devin C. Hi Devin, there is no experience on your profile, you just completed 1 job. Could you please share more information

@Gence G. Thanks, let me sort out concrete, I am waiting for response from the guy who will do concrete on Friday. Your quote to lay floor is very high, I have quotes around 600. Please share details of jobs you did in the past. Thanks

@Gence G. I am expecting you to lay compounding material and then do the laminate flooring. That’s why I said you can’t do it in during the weekend. Please let me know both quotes, with or without compounding. I am talking to one guy who may do compounding on Friday. Whatever I chose you can’t finish job this weekend.

@Gence G. Hi dear, when you do compounding, you can’t finish job this weekend, compounding takes 2-4 days to dry. Please share your complete plan.

@Abramo D. I am wondering if you can come early to do compounding. Compounding will take 2-4 days to dry, you can lay floor when floor is dry.

@James L. That’s okay

James L. 25 days ago

I'm afraid I have a tight window to get to this so with the additional work I wouldn't be able to fit it in, in July.

Jitender K. 25 days ago

@James L. In patches, I feel screeding may be needed, I gave contract to a guy who didn’t finished the job due to some personal reasons, so these 2 rooms and kitchen is the left over job. According to him screed was needed.

James L. 25 days ago

Are the floors particularly bad?

Jitender K. 25 days ago

@James L. So, screeding the floor is not included, you may have to do screeding with self levelling compound. Please confirm if your offer includes this as well.

Jitender K. 25 days ago

@James L. I just posted 3 photos, for 1 bedroom I have already ripped off the floor and skirting boards, for other bedroom and kitchen floor has to be ripped off before installing new

James L. 25 days ago

If you can post a few pictures I'd be happy to give you a price. Its impossible to quote work like this accurately without seeing it. Thanks

Jitender K. 25 days ago

@Abramo D. When can you start working? I am about to accept your offer

Jitender K. 25 days ago

@James L. It is not new build, old floor (laminate) which I have removed from one of the rooms for other rooms, it has to be removed. I am installing 12mm laminate

Jitender K. 25 days ago

I have skirting boards removed and old floor ripped off 1 bedroom, for other bedroom and kitchen old floor has to removed. I can remove myself if that is a hassle

James L. 25 days ago

Hi, can you provide some more detail please. Is this a new build? Is there old flooring to come up? What pattern/type of laminate are you using? Do you need skirting boards installed too? Can you post some pictures of the rooms to be floored.
